Scarcely Lethal Noob
ATM Medic is not fun and effective to play, he only can be useful with alive allies.
No chance in 1vs1 battle. Without allies, it's really hard to gain that 100%.

Medic should have that minimum 40% uber always to have that chance to fight Hale to 100% and survive.

Removing 40% uber bonus was necessary to prevent Medic from needing a class limit; Medic being extremely effective is why this feature got removed in the first place. He's a support class, he's supposed to most useful with allies to support.

Nothing has changed in a 1v1 confrontation with Hale except he needs 40% more uber, which is, at best, two (ubersaw) hits, and at worst, four (arrows) to eight (needles.)

Medics, and every class for that matter, has a chance to fight Hale and survive. Rewarding Medic nearly half his uber for ubering encouraged aggressive uberspam and lowered the skill required to play the class.

VSH US was able use this to adopt a meta of 10+ Medics to effectively either win every single round as RED, or frustrate the best Hales with 10 minute rounds and stalemates; a meta that effectively ensured no Hale could win.

Medic is fine the way he is right now. It's just a matter of hitting your shots and getting in swings with the ubersaw if you're forced into a 1v1. Like mub said, the 40% uber just being given right off the bat every single time would not only lower the skill ceiling, but also encourage a lot of uberspam.

bad idea BAD idea. medics having 40% uber after every charge would just be beyond broken. especially considering that it would take literal 3 shots in ff2 to gain 100% again compared to five and if your not a one tap hale like doom or one punch you're literally screwed over. the 1v1 against hales isn't impossible either sure uber drains but if you land conistent hits you can easily pump out some damage, and as someone who literally only plays medic on skial and is able to pump out 5k to 6k with the new changes this would easily break medic. utilize your tools and be more accurate with your shots. medic is already balanced as is.
