tbh, I never used to have that much interest in badlands, but it is one of the most popular comp maps and having a skial pub to practice on would be quite handy and I think with the amount of interest expressed towards competitive play recently here in skial there would be a fair amount of interest and play.

DeadHerald is right, CP_Badlands is one of the better maps, in fact its the BEST map ever made EVER!
