I think the mentally challenged are a drain on society and resources. The Spartans had it right getting rid of deformed or otherwise "less-than" individuals who would only be a burden.

I kind of get where terdy is coming from being afraid of them attacking, I remember in elementary school seeing a "mentally challenged" (back then we said retarded) kid get into a fight. He seemed to have awesome strength and not feel any pain. He totally beat the crap out of 3 other boys and seemed pretty much unaffected by it. But I think they are generally harmless... just a drain.

It's called "things you're ashamed of" thread... obviously my views are not politically correct and I didn't write a whole long post explaining it nor do I want to. But let's be real most of them never have any true quality of life, require several caretakers, burden their families, suffer immensely etc.

And let's not forget tax money that pays for them to keep on... doing nothing. Because we just can't let retards die now can we?

At least my point of view is more realistic than being afraid of a mentally challenged "attacker."
