BF's mum is obsessed with making Mint chocolate Chip cookies to perfect the recipe. she doesn't add food colour but she used a brownie mix with her cookie batter last...omfg.. should have been illegal.
I really want to make some sort of fish or seafood dish as an homage to the original feast. Haven't come up with any great ideas yet... I kinda was thinking of salt baking a whole fish since it seems hard to mess up.
I'm not much of a soup person either but I'm definitely interested in making a squash soup like this one:
So if anyone has any recipes hook me up!
Idk how the rest of the world gets along without T-day. It is by far the best holiday.
I made the dough and let it rise, then I cut out the donut shapes.
Then I put it in the oil.
(It's dark because my oil wasn't as hot as a deep fryer so the outside cooked faster than the inside. It wasn't burn or anything, just had a nice bit of crisp to the outside.)
Then I took them out and dried and cooled them, then I put them in some glaze I made. They were pretty damn good.
