For the people wondering what the German in the last part meant:
Killer Zebra is right. Valve was just bored of saying "Updated The Localization Files" on every single update so they wrote it in German.

Uhhh, who was right? I'm the one who translated it. All he did was insult me for my trouble.

Doesn't change the fact that you have misinterpreted it.
I wasn't sure if there was sarcasm when you said "They updated the localization files for the German client." They just wanted to write it in German. If there was sarcasm, then I derped up and have difficulty reading sentences.
Also, it takes five seconds to copy and paste the sentence into Google Translate to find out it was in German.
1. if it was for the german client why did we get it? if it was for the germans and not use, they should of gotten it
2. Why isnt the rest of it in German? germans can't read english. So just make one part of it german?
3. I remembered now valve likes to input different sentences for updating the localization files to make them seem "funny"

Well actually, Zebs. Most schools in Germany have a required English class, it's a fairly important language to know.
In comparsion to the States in German we start studying foreign languages in 5th grade and by the time we graduate we had 2-3 foreign languages ;)
Don't conclude from the American school system to other education systems :P
