You barely have enough playtime and what the others have said does not look very good. Sorry.

You can still totally improve though
It's a trade server. AFK hours are the bulk of the time there. I have more than enough hours if we go off the minimum hours required. What exactly have others said? because literally nothing they've said has any solid ground to prevent me from being an admin.

First off, we don't require people to give input when giving a +1/-1. Your attitude towards those who do is a risky reflection of how you would handle conflicts as an admin.

I have witnessed a desperate need for an active admin on several occasions. As you can see with my many reports, I am capable of recognizing and dealing with inappropriate behavior in this trade server.
I always wished I could make them a better place. But with the lack of active admins and enforcement of rules, a lot of the things I witnessed went unpunished.

You have a few valid reports under your belt, which is already an improvement compared to many other applicants, but you make it sound as if there is a constant flow of problems. If that were the case, why haven't you reported more of these incidents?

I also want to bring to attention that you were fervently advocating for a complete ban of anything pornographic, which, let's be honest, has been a part of TF2 for as long as most people can remember. Your attitude and responses in that thread were less than impressive, and you tended to attack people rather than their arguments, which is NOT a good sign for any admin candidate.

As others have already stated, you also have less than the required amount of playtime on our servers. It goes without saying that AFK hours do not count, regardless of whether you think it should due to being a trade server, which should have people in it for TRADING rather than being AFK like in the idle server.

Overall, this app was already denied but I will re-state that, even if you did have the minimum playtime required, your attitude towards other members and lack of reports would still have made it a -1 from me.

Well, when an admin responds to an application with nothing but a -1, it's frustrating for the person applying. I see no problem with pointing out a faulty methodology or lack of constructive criticism. I believe my distaste for the comment(s) was justified. To continue, I do report a lot of the players I see causing problems. However, others, whom I help, report on their own too. This is a lapse in my own judgment, I guess, because maybe they might not follow up with a full report, but I am not an admin... Why should I be doing an admin's job? It's quite stressful to fight and argue with these people with no way of actually muting or stopping them. That's exactly why I wanted to try to be an admin and have the ability to end something before the escalation, because it's quite evident where all of these problems always end up (my reports show this well). You guys need to get an active admin on here, and you'll find that nearly all Skial traders will agree. The number of people who come in and commit reportable offenses varies, but there's at least a couple a day. It's rampant, and I report what I can report realistically (and what I can handle as an individual). Filling out a report doesn't even guarantee something will be done in the moments that should have been done (literally immediately), because the damage just gets worse and worse while waiting for an admin from the forum to fix it a couple hours later. Very obviously, I'm not liked around here because of my stance on porn (shockingly, I figured people would be more mature here?). In the context of the thread, I saw no reason not to point out these questionable qualities. They are clearly unfit to argue against what I was presenting. These people are exhibiting arguments very similar to the ones who are participating in this type of behavior. Not to mention their post-history and their general conduct elsewhere. I see no reason not to take a harsher stance against individuals like that. I'm not sure if you have ever attended a trade server before, as it sounds like you don't understand how it works. Most of the time, you can sit and hear conversations going on or be in a trade window for a long time talking to users in the community. Even in the steam overlay, I'm sitting on the server listening and typing to people on the server; it just shows as AFK hours because I'm technically not doing anything in TF2 itself. Weird thing to point out if you know how trade servers work. I just fail to see some of the problems with my behavior here, considering what I've said here. Thanks for your input.

You know admins have lives outside of TF2 and Skial right? When they can go to servers and deal with issues they will, but expecting an admin to immediately go to a server everytime there's an issue isn't something that's going to happen. When they have the time to deal with an issue they will deal with it. I appreciate when they deal with problems, but they have lives outside this game and we have to respect their time.

hence why I said this trade server needs an active server admin...

I can elaborate on some of the reasons I voted -1 for sake of transparency and public record. I sometimes go into the Trade US server anonymously to watch over things. I noticed several concerning things from your behavior that I do not believe are fit for an admin.

1) Sometimes you have a short fuse. It's fine for regular players, but not fit for an admin.

2) There was an instance where you attempted to bribe others to vote silence or kick someone.

3) You sometimes instigate trouble while under the guise of looking out for the rules. What this looks like: you continue to poke and prod people (suspected rule breakers) when it is unnecessary and should be reporting them instead.

You are not in trouble for any of the above. However, those are my reasons as to why I think it would be a disaster if you were made an admin.

I guess you see it as it's not possible for me to improve on these aspects, which is completely unfair in my opinion. The bribe to silence a mic spamming player was mostly a joke (at that point) as the reason the votemute was not going through was because people were uninterested in voting and had muted the player on their own. The guy was literally just holding V and causing a bunch of noise disturbance and starting conflict with several players. At the time, I was not really aware of how the Skial forms worked so I had no knowledge of the report function actually doing something within the time the problem was occurring. It was a mistake, I acknowledge now that now, and I understand the concern there. However, I can assure that was a one time occurrence I would not do again. Yes, I can poke and prod (especially when I know nothing is gonna be done from a report) i.e. Party, a known exit-scammer, is actively present within Skial and is brokering for players. He's perma-banned on TGP and Firepowered, but strangely, not here. I'm gathering evidence that I've compiled on a few people. So yes, I poke and prod. It's part of a bigger thing I'm working on. Regardless, I'm aware of these issues and other problems I'm working on and strive to always work on improving. I just find it unfair that I'm completely disqualified, but it is what it is.

Overall I think the criticisms against me are fair. I am constantly working on improving myself, and as noted I have made mistakes in my time at Skial. I think it would be nice to have some more advice on how to improve (in general). If I could be provided that I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you
