I think that if you're going to admin, play some more custom modes, I suppose. Each server has a different atmosphere of what's allowed and what isn't. It felt like you befriended me just to get me to comment on this thread. Granted, I haven't known you that long. I don't know what you would do with admin power if you were given it.

Snippers.exe I am sorry you think that. You were one of the only if not the only person in my contacts doing deathrun and that let me try it a bit and get out of my boring 2fort engineer habit. If you think I deserve a -1 and that I would be a bad admin I respect your decision 100 percent no animosity at all and I hope we see each other again on deathrun or other modes and always welcome to chat with me.

I was waiting for his explanations on what he really meant in his text because honestly I barely understand what he is trying to say exactly in the first place (and everyone can also make their own judgment by checking my text history).

But in the end I was expecting frictions because the more reports I do the more people get mad at me or the friends of the people who got reported also get mad at me and I understand this is part of the *game*.

-1 He is currently AFK in red spawn on 2Fort using a macro to spam banjo to not get AFK kicked while building up a KS. For someone who wants to join the admin team, you would think he'd understand this simple rule.

I understand you didn’t like having multiple engies (maybe two) constantly playing banjo in spawn, but I was actually there, and if after 1000 hours on the server the only thing people can reproach me for is playing the banjo in spawn when bored and sometimes getting kills with a sentry, then I’m fine with that.

I read through every comment in this thread and clearly people like you, that is good. People have also pointed out things that could go wrong, or things that you could potentially need to work on. My commentary here is no different and not personal.

You were not only spamming an obnoxious emote in spawn, where everyone gets to hear it for 10+ minutes, but you were doing it non-stop, no interruption, no response to your teammates in vc or in text, nothing. So I spectated you for a minimum of 5 minutes of you doing exactly that because it very much looked like you were macroing to not get AFK kicked. A second person was doing it too but they kept your gear alive and had to start/stop their taunt spam.

You pasting my own chat logs from Stats page only helps my argument above that you were in fact not there, because I tried numerous ways to get your attention and ask you to stop to no avail because you were AFK yet magically not getting kicked. The animation also looked oddly glitchy.

My only intent to comment is to hold you accountable for knowing and following the rules if you plan on enforcing them, no matter how trivial you may think it is in the moment.

You just want the best admins and you do your job well. I always appreciate when you are on the server even if I don't know you too much, and I understand there is nothing personal, see you on the servers.

I’ve been playing on Skial for a few years now. I live in the middle of Canada and speak both English and French.


Outside of TF2, I’ve been a full-time teacher for over 15 years. That means dealing with deadlines, upset parents, helping students who need support, and working with principals and colleagues. I’m also used to supervising more than 400 students at a time during recess, managing conflicts, answering questions, and keeping the atmosphere as pleasant and safe as possible for everyone. In many ways, a school and a server aren’t that different.


To help keep Skial servers clean, I regularly submit reports, I always try to include video proof since I record most of my games. One report was rejected, which is fine, I take feedback seriously. A few of my follow-up comments in that case were unfortunately removed, but I always stay respectful and calm even when people disagree. You can’t always be right, and that’s okay.


When everyone in my house is asleep, that’s when I like to turn on my computer, open TF2, and relax for a bit. It’s my quiet time to play, chat a little, and keep the atmosphere positive. Sometimes I’ll ask open-ended questions or share fun facts to lighten the mood, not for attention, just to keep things friendly and enjoyable.


For full transparency, English is my second language, and I use AI tools to help correct my writing. I mention this only because I once saw an application get a -1 for using AI, so I prefer to be honest about it.

I recommend answering these whenever it is right for you. I will acknowledge that these do not hold the timing of the decision if it is made for your admin application. These only serve as a bridge for those in the community to understand.

So basically someone asked me how I was doing, and I made a joke about that assuming that you would get it since you were on the server. What I said had something to do with the nice things that you said about me but I will just say that I dont mind laughing at myself time to time.
