Your intentions seem to come from a good place. I aprpreciate that. One of your recent reports was pretty effective as well, which I enjoy seeing leniency in practice before making displinary action as the last option. Thank you for being an effective reporter.

There is a bit of a time gap from forums. I analyzed your stats which shows that some activity is there.
I am not certain what activity was done in leading throughout the missing decade.
Perhaps more time is needed but rather an "Improve" from me. 🙂

Fair enough, and thank you for the flowers and the pot, as we say in French :)

I respect the fact that you are honest about English being your second-language but how do we know you aren't going to misinterpret or mishear something?

Thank you so much for respecting my honesty, so I’ll be honest in return.

I know not everyone wants to read a long text from some old guy applying to be a mod, so here are two versions:

Short version:
I already work in a place where English is the main language, and I’ve often had to make judgments in complex situations. I’ve always believed in second opinions, in allowing room for error, and in the importance of good communication.

Long version:
I teach in an English-speaking environment, so I constantly deal with situations where things can be misheard or misunderstood. In those cases, I’ve learned the value of second opinions, clear communication, and evidence before drawing conclusions.

I also have the habit of recording all my games, so whenever something happens, it’s already documented and can be reviewed objectively. It’s the same approach I use at work verify first, act later.

It’s like what happened recently with the N-word incident in Russian and the one in Spanish too. In both cases, I made sure to check three separate sources before adding anything to the report, just to make sure everything was accurate and fair.

Yes, I’ve made mistakes in my reports here before, but the good news is that I’ve learned from them. I know errors can happen, and that’s exactly why I try to stay careful, open, and humble when they do.

He is clearly displaying a biased attitude. However, one of the most fundamental responsibilities of an admin or moderator is to remain equally distant to all players and to never act in a biased manner. The same applies to someone who is a candidate. A person who is a moderator or admin candidate must prove these qualities before obtaining the position, not after. When individuals with authority allow their personal opinions or individual relationships to influence their decisions, it undermines the sense of trust within the community and seriously damages the perception of fairness.

In addition, some of the behaviors and interactions he exhibits appear quite childish and unprofessional. While someone in an authoritative position (or even a candidate) should handle discussions in a professional manner, instead he unnecessarily escalates the environment and engages in low-level, inappropriate dialogues. Such approaches not only negatively affect communication among players but also cause the seriousness of the management team to be questioned.

In conclusion, such behavior is incompatible with the role of an admin or moderator—and it should be. Individuals with authority must act with greater maturity, impartiality, and a sense of responsibility; this is essential for the community to continue in a healthy and fair manner.

Otherwise, it is certain that Skial will evolve in a negative direction.

No problem. In the ~100 reports I did, you can pick the ones that you think were immature or biased.
We can talk about them.
