Terraria Group

Also, did someone ever make a steam group for this? It would be beyond helpful to just make one and announce whenever server is going live so that everyone could see it without having to check this thread / message them all the time?
 
anyone planning on hosting the 1.3 server? i was thinking about doing it but lag and keeping it 24/7 might be a problem

i don't know who was the last host, but it would be nice if we could afford for that cheap server again for at least a month
 
Just reinstalled the game, was about to ask if anyone was down to play and there you guys are :D
Who's down for some play tomorrow?

512 mb is the minimum. Stuttering might happen with less than 1GB though.
There are some 2GB VPS that are still less than 10$, btw.

Edit: just did a price check.
5$ for a 2GB RAM VPS

I wouldn't mind picking up a regular dedicated server even if its a bit more expensive, I assume it would be more easier to use for an idiot like me to set up

I'll have to see next week if I have the money tho because bills and all

I might be able to play today depending on how long it takes me to get my shit moved back home and set up. I'll most likely be able to but it will be a bit later on today.
 
for those who don't know, the update will roll out at 1PM EST, which means it will be out in a little bit over 2 hours
 
I would love to play, but hopefully its a little bit slower than last time. A lot of new stuff in 1,3 I need to learn and I don't want the server in hardmode on like, the second day. (irl)

We should really wait until everybody in the server is ready for hardmode instead of just a few people, like what happened last time.
 
I feel stupid, because I thought Windows 10 was coming out today as well. :(

but, yeah. let's not speedrun like last time, and actually use TS.
