Teammate kills

HLstats shows something called "Teammate kills" and I was wondering how this happens. Apparently I killed a teammate in the past few days and I'm guessing it was something Halloween related, but I still can't figure out how you would get credit for killing a teammate.

Just looking for clarification.

You get credit for killing a teammate when you kill a team mate

I think it's autobalance related

when you deal damage to an enemy player and they get autoswitched to your team before they die

killfeed shows you finished off a teammate

Unless they changed it since I last saw it, if you heal a enemy spy and he backstabs one of your teammates it will show you as an assist on the kill feed. I assume that may count as a possible teamkill on HLstats

And of course the autobalance thing the others pointed out
