To my understanding, friendlying in the Skial surf server has always been allowed but has never been formally written in the rules alongside with Idle/Trade being mentioned there. I'm not sure why it wasn't put, but there's been cases of people who utilize the "Ban for Friendlying" vote, when in reality this is not against the rules and the person ends up being banned because of the doubt if it *is* against the rules or not since it's missing from the list. I have also heard people say they're going to "report for friendlying" before as a "threat".
Friendlying is a key part of the combat surf mode, especially in end sections of surf maps where killing each other isn't ideal, especially in hard to reach ends of maps where you can't get back to end easily (see Nameless and Twilight). So making it clear that it is allowed so people don't try to use a "fake rule" to their advantage would be ideal. Killing friendlies would obviously remain as allowed in Skial surf, however. Removal of the option for votebanning users for friendlying would also be warranted. Thanks for reading.
