That's fucking awesome.

We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price

Steam is full of homeboys.

Ubisoft is probably shitting their pants now that they will have to do actual QA checks on their games or risk losing a ton of purchases to refunds.

Shame Valve didn't start doing this before Unity released.

Would've been great to have that time i bought dead rising 2 on sale, only to find the dead rising franchise pack for almost the same price a couple days later...
But yeah, great to see this done, less worry for the consumer

Now if they could only remove those 7 day trade restrictions on community market purchases.

Abuse
Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.

This made me smile and will definitely be handy for Steam summer sale.

At least now developers will make sure the PC port is not broken before releasing.
