People find it annoying when people (anyone for this case, not just you) bump an old thread that's no longer relevant or was never really big talk (or in this case nobody cared.) It takes up a spot for threads people want to read in the recent threads.

I can't speak for everyone with my definition but I know it bugs the shit out of me and most people around here frown upon necro bumping.
