actually, I was the one he harassed. I was apologizing for my yelling earlier then he called a vote to mute me. before I was muted, someone said he was "just messing with me". He may not have been "disturbing me persistently", but honestly, you can call that harassment. And like I keep saying, if you dont like someone's voice, just client mute them. There is no need to vote mute someone for your own personal gain (that being so he does not have to hear my barely squeaky voice) I would feel better if someone didnt defend him simply because "a kid talked, he called a vote, over 60% wanted him muted.". He actually did go out of his way to annoy me, so at the least, it is vote griefing.
I explained that he didn't harass you, from what i saw while i was there. look through his chat and explain to me where he was personally and intentionally harassing you. As for the votemute, more than half of the people didn't want to hear you for one reason or another, so they voted yes. Sure there might be some random yes and no votes tucked in there, but it passed by majority.
"Or leave it at that and wait out your sentence." hmm. I am not sure if this is part of what caused my 24h ban. Not to sound rude, but honestly, I don't think arguing with you will affect my "sentence" in any way. I may not agree with the judgement passed on to me, as there was really no proof other than the fact that i tried twice to ban (30 mins) and 2 times to report (with supporters, but not enough). I was just a little angry at what he did, so I tried 2 times and refused to go any farther (though I did consider, just to be honest). If i said just 2 sentences, and then suddenly, a vote is started to mute me, and then most of everyone says yes. I don't think anyone really payed attention there at all. The fact is, he could have client muted. He could have also asked me to be quiet (this time, no one said be quiet). I honestly believe that no one cared about my 2 sentences until just 1 person tried to vote mute me, and then they think "You know what? this guy will probably keep trying, so best to just make him happy.", or "Hey a vote just popped up! 'Mute and Gag 1kshards'? I dont know why, but I am starting to hate his voice all of a sudden."
will arguing change your sentence, of course it won't. all that I am saying is that you were muted then decided that this one guy was harassing you and so you decided to try and voteban him, knowing he did nothing that made would have made that justified. just hold your temper next time is all I'm saying
