If I am in the server with them and I see it, I warn first. If someone has gone through the trouble of a report, I usually ban.

I understand where you are coming from. I got a guy banned for him doing the shield-friendly demo exploit/glitch thing for a few moments. I thought it would last a couple of rounds, but he only ended up doing it for the first part of the round.
I never make a report or call someone in if the person just does it for less than a minute. The civilian glitch is pretty funny to see for a few seconds, and people usually stop after those few seconds. Sometimes you get an idiot who does it for an extended amount of time, but most people just do it for a moment of giggles, then keep on playing.
If you over-react, you're just ruining someone's moment of fun. However, blocking sniper scopes is always a dick move, as are the other actions that are defined as griefing. But a quick Spycrab down the hallway never hurt anyone.

You Charles, have always been really reasonable as an admin. I've seen you warn players on lower level stuff. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't haha. I'd never think of you as someone who bans without a legit reason.
As far as the sprays go, some are too much. I get why Skial doesn't ban for them, but I also don't get why some extreme ones aren't prohibited when compared to what does get you banned.

Actually, the guy who complained has a server with a "no cursing" rule
(Also no camping, no capping on hale, no saying anything bad about admins ever, no "paraspriting")

As a sniper....scouts standing in the way arent that detrimental to your aiming especially if they are crouched....like his demo showed... all of 5 seconds of which he actually had to try and aim not just randomly shoot
