Apparently,putin started fire few days ago leading 6-7 deaths as a warning.I hate to say this but world war 3 might be happening.I don't pay much attention but is the UE doing anything about this?I mean,it was their purpouse to keep Europe from collapsing like in world war 2.
Actually understand what is going on before you talk about it. World War 3 isn't going to happen. The cold war is not back. This is just another geopolitical thing happening in eurasia with a bit of muscle flexing.

Of course i know the cold war is not back,obama himself insisted that military solution is not an option and he's obviously trying to avoid the crisis by not intervening it.

Honestly, the whole thing is in a position to spiral wildly out of control if one side takes a step too far. Russia will really only benefit from a war like that since the west will be playing to stabilize and restore the previously established territory while Russia will be playing to gain territory. The west likely wouldn't move inwards to Russia if anything were to occur.
So, maybe not a World War 3 situation, but it has the potential to be a large scale war.
