its annoying when all demos do is wait for a charge and jump over the trap. makes the game less fun for hale, and the dead people. Its just unfair and broken in most maps, especially horrors and block.

point of note: if every trap is an instant-kill and does at least 1850 damage, then you can allow spies provided you force a Dead Ringer to the PDA2 slot

I don't know how to make chargin targe charge slower. Wouldn't that make demos waste even more time?

Just remove the shields, I've stated why above.

Seriosly, chargers are not that hard to catch with a good strategy. You should disable the engie builds instead, since they always try to exploit. Removing the shields because some people can't catch running demomans looks more like a personal whine to me. What will be the next? Disabling the jump because people trick Hale by jumping?

have you ever PLAYED deathrun on maps like horrors? God, they RUIN horrors.
last time i popped on to EU deathrun and it was on horrors EVERY MOTHER FUCKER WAS A DEMOKNIGHT.
they just fucking skipped traps with the charge

And talking about that horror map, i think soldiers that trigger the buttons by using the rocket launcher are the real ruination.

1)horror has recently been removed from the play list until the map has been fixed
2) sometimes it is near impossible to catch up to a charging demo man and when you do all the runners behind him can pass 3-4 traps
