I'm not going to make an argument for adding !3 back on all servers. However, I would like to mention that Medieval Mode already supports third person in the form of the console command tf_medieval_thirdperson. Nevertheless, the third person given for Medieval Mode places the camera at an awkward angle to the right of the player model.

I'm requesting that the !3 version of third person be reinstated on this server, so that we can play with the camera behind the player model.

Earlier, they had it that even with mods, you couldn't allow it without using sv_cheats.

Now, they let mods allow tp without using sv_cheats.

Also, I'm speaking out of my ass for the following part: Didn't Valve allow hldj commands in tf2?

You're reiterating my previous point, and inadvertently bolstering my argument. Skial's !3 was applied via server-side mods--Medieval Mode's third person is a console command anyone can use on any Degroot server without mods or sv_cheats. It was INTENDED to be utilized on a "vanilla" Degroot server if someone wished. Third person is NOT intended to be used on a "vanilla" TF2 server running any other map.
 
I think it's dumb for players who do not play on said server to offer opinions atleast in a negative way of suggestions regulars make.

If you aren't a degroot regular your mouth should probably be shut here - I'm not commenting positive or negatively since I do not play there..just sayin.

Why? I've played degroot. I very strongly feel third person on that game mode would be just as much of a wallhack as on normal.

But since you do not play there it being enabled or not has no effect on you, so therefor you probably shouldn't have an opinion on the matter.
 
hes obviously not spent much if anytime on degroot to know literally how little walls mean in said game mode

I think I can quite easily argue in theory, and it's not that I haven't used it at all, I haven't played around with it a lot. I've said what I have to, and it's up to Bottiger now.
