little do they realize that because Sodom was completely destroyed (by volcanic activity), Sodomites don't exist anymore. not only that, but the bible also mentions that the men of Sodom had wives and regularly fucked them, thus they were technically not homosexual, but bi/pansexual. (contextually, there were some other things involved in that time that had nothing to do with sex whatsoever, and due to equal rights, has no leg to stand on today, rendering everything moot)

Don't get me wrong here I have no problem and voted to allow gay rights. The thing is it almost seems that if you are against this you are now demonized even if you don't protest against it and I think this is causing the problem. You have to remember a few religions are dead set and believe this is a sin. So if they think it is a sin then of course they are going to have issues with the ones that don't. Do these people then have no right to voice an opinion even if it is not of the majority? I agree that asking for violence against anyone is crossing the line but some just see it as wrong.
Maybe we could ask for forgiveness for these individuals instead of asking for violence against them....I don't know its a tricky situation and issue. I have this discussion with my Dad who is a Deacon in the Lutheran Church and he says some of the most awful things but really doubt he would harm anyone because of this. I just believe it is going to take time just as anything from the past that has changed i.e. Women's rights, slavery and hell even science was considered evil by the church.
I guess is what I am saying is both sides of this take it to the extreme and in the end does not help either ones point. I don't know hell I just wish we all could do our own thing as long as you are not violating anyone's rights or freedoms.

While I'm indifferent to weed, when I first heard about this in my political science class today I thought it was hilarious since it's a good example of how short-sighted our state legislature was over passing this bill "to protect the free exercise of religion" and how it was bound backfire in more ways than people expect.
Well guys, it's official.
As of today, Bottiger has stepped down as Skial head admin and put me in his place. I promise I will work hard to uphold the high standards he has set for this great community, and I will still rely on him for guidance.
Don't worry, I will not do any drastic changes (for the time being at least), maybe just remove Zebra as admin because he has been found guilty by a jury of his peers of abusing his admin powers for evil purposes.
I regret to say that due to new extravagant spending by the administration, I will have to impose a monthly $24.99 fee for accessing our forums. They will not be enhanced, everything will be the same, but due to Skial's popularity we have decided to take a new route to turn this community into a special club reserved for the elite only.
I look forward to serving you all and can only hope that I will be half as good as the godly man that preceded me.
