It's just that after watching the debate, I was just in awe. The man wants to "grade schools" so that parents know how good a school is, to be able to decide to take their children out of their current school to put them in other higher-graded schools. What. The. Hell.To be perfectly fair, Romney is a motherfucking genius. Not to say that I agree with anything he says, but he's a very smart man.
Even though every four years we go through the same thing, where we have candidates that people on both sides of the field say are "retarded" or "idiots", etc, the fact of the matter is that the candidates are actually far smarter than most of us can actually comprehend. Just because I disagree with most of what Romney says doesn't mean I think he's a dumb man. I may think he's selfish, greedy, and out of touch with the American people, but I would never question his intelligence by calling him retarded. Same with Obama, Bush, Gore, or any other candidate.
These people are absolute geniuses. They've all spent more time in law school than I care to even think about law, and have typically served in several different branches of government and have tons of experience in their field.
That said, I fucking hate Romney. He's a smart man, for sure. But I dislike him.
Sweden has something like that, though it's mostly just checking some few points, then grading them and putting them on a website noone really knows about unless the school is so bad it appears on the news. The thing I don't like is the motivation, with the whole "parents"-thingy. It's the fucking kids that count, jeez, I'm getting sick of all these Republicans just focusing on the parents and not the kids themselves - like that anti-divorcing law in some state (Arizona I believe) or that law where critical thinking would be forbidden to teach out in schools (in Texas) because the kids might "rebel against their parents".It's just that after watching the debate, I was just in awe. Even if he does it, the only people that care enough to check out those grades are either wealthy people or people that were going to do the research anyways. It's honestly a waste of federal money. It's just that after watching the debate, I was just in awe. but you should!I didn't watch it because i don't vote. fuck the system!
Tbh the only party I would bother to vote for if I were a US citizen would be the Green Party or Libertarian, just to get a third party into congress, and even then the vote is most likely wasted. I cannot comprehend how people can think a two-party system is a good one, it just causes political stalemates.but you should!
i kinda wiss i didnt watch, because i am not going to vote this comming election (cause i hate both parties)I didn't watch it because i don't vote. fuck the system!
I see what you did there. My parents' religion has political neutrality, but after Obama did an AMA, I feel like voting for him.
ObAMA
Honestly I think Nader would have made a good president. It's all about popular opinion though. To appeal to the broadest people you have to take a lot more fringe stances. Romney is actually not that radical of a republican (I mean he said he likes regulation!) which is why he gets a guy like Ryan to be his VP because that guys a hardcore republican. Biden is way more liberal than Obama is as well. The VP debate will most likely be more enjoyable to watch because Biden is a wildcard and Ryan is really polar opposite of him.Tbh the only party I would bother to vote for if I were a US citizen would be the Green Party or Libertarian, just to get a third party into congress, and even then the vote is most likely wasted. Yeah, he sounded good, but he changed his stance on issues a few times like Kerry did in 2004. The only difference is it sounds like he believed it all of along. Plus, the whole thing about "panels" and the 716$ billion cut to medicaid was BS. Honestly, if you're undecided at this point you're an idiot. These debates are just fodder.I see what you did there.
As for the debate, i didn't watch it myself but from news articles i heard Romney lied like 5 times the first half hour.
Yeah, that's a stupid opinion he has. Instead of grading schools, try fixing schools, so that they'd all get a good grade upon review. It's just that after watching the debate, I was just in awe.
