He beat me at first, when I was showing off my Pokemon, but after that I swept his team and not one of my pokemon fainted.
Hawlucha was at 2 HP.

After 288 non-shinies, and 1 unhatched egg, I have finally achieved my end goal.

Sweg.

Rotom's not a legendary.
Oh well, people keep feeding me wrong info on Pokémon. Either way it's dumb to bitch about people using legendaries when many, many comp players use them in their teams.

Also again sorry about getting that Rotom info wrong, it's a common mistake considering when you encounter Rotom it plays legendary music.

you better get that stick out of your ass before I kick it and it ends up stabbing you in the kidney.
What stick?

Hawlucha + Spikes + Stealth Rock + Recover, that Deoxys of yours took out almost half of the HP on my ground fighters and a quarter of the HP from my air fighters. I also had to switch out to do damage to that Deoxys so it wasn't just killing time. Legendaries are the death of me.

It had NOTHING to do with legendaries. You dont even know how to make an effective team. You cant really complain when you are using a casual team VS a competitive one. Its no contest.
I could make a Ferrothorn do the EXACT same thing my Deoxys did, which if you dont know the correct term is wall your team. Deoxys was just more accessible to me as I sold my copy of X and Y.
Hell, Ferrothorn can even learn Spikes and Stealth Rocks and has better typing. He might even be a BETTER option.
As for Hawlucha sweeping your team, that was your own fault. You were using unreliable moves that have low accuracy in exchange for PP, which is never a good option for online battles.

Not trying to be THAT guy, just saying that you cant say "ENNNGH OP POKEMON" when your team isn't even a match for mine which consists of pokemon bred and trained for hours into perfection.
It wasn't a fair fight, end of story. The other times you beat me I was fucking around and I decided to go loose cannon this time.

A ferrothorn would have gone down to my flamethrower, the defense of Deoxys is insane, let's see Ferrothorn learn recover, this is why I like to keep my PP in check, because of Pokemon like Deoxys, if my Pokemon have low PP then I'm basically hit a wall for such a small amount of time, fact of the matter is, if I had Stone Edge, that would've probably gone down before Hawlucha even came out because I'd be relying on it's power to take out Deoxys because I'd have no other choice, it'd be the only move that would do half decent damage and POSSIBLY take out Deoxys but not likely because it's a fat wall of defense and that's it. Also, with Ferrothorn, I couldn't care at all about it's ability cause
  • Flamethrower is double effective and not physical
  • Drain Punch is effective and will heal the damage Iron Barbs did the turn prior
But Deoxys, it's special ability, along with MANY Legendary Pokemon is pressure, yet another reason why I need moves with greater than 5 PP. Which is the main reason why I haven't taken your suggestion to substitute Rock Slider for Stone Edge. Which is still more inaccurate than Rock Slide, the reason I lost is because your Hawlucha evaded the killing Rock Slide, if it evaded Rock Slide, what makes you think a move with 20% less accuracy would connect? If I really wanted to take out a Hawlucha, I could spend maybe a few hours to capture the egg trio, grab Palkia, go get a heart scale and teach it Power Gem but that doesn't sound like fun to me at all.

Then you were just doing pretty bad in that match, Deoxys isn't that hard to take out. And by that I mean it's just like any other uber Pokemon to take out, I only see people complain about an uber when it just so happens to be a legendary Pokemon. Yet I still see many people use that fucker Aegislash, and even Blaziken! My point being, if you hate fighting ubers like Deoxys, don't play online without asking your opponent about banning ubers in the first place.

Also these matches are just friendly matches. Why the fuck should it matter what Pokemon are used?

With it's high defenses? It's impossible to take out in one hit unless it's in some sort of condition that prevents it from doing anything (sleep, frozen, etc.). Why should it matter what Pokemon are used? It's no fun getting sweeped, I understand that was the case when I did that to Sroy but he wasn't trying, like, at all when Deoxys wasn't on his team which isn't fun either. My kind of battles are those that are close and where both parties are giving it their all, Sroy and I had few battles like that and on the day Hawlucha sweeped me, we had a battle before that and it was a close battle with my last Pokemon barely hanging in, that was the battle that really got me going. Am I asking for sympathy? No. Am I asking for a team modification? Yes but I have no control of what Sroy's team is or what it will be. What I'd really like to know is, how is competitive Pokemon friendly? Is it really fun spending hours on your 3DS to turn your Pokemon into the most victory-sought-for team alone or is it more fun with friends? Only thing I can see fun about spending hours busting up your Pokemon is achieving that goal but alone? I can't see how that's fun in the slightest.

I understand your issue with Deoxys but it can be taken out fairly easy if you use the right moves/Pokemon on it. I have a battle saved where my Gengar 2 shots it without it really doing much other than take out my Gliscor.

Deoxys doesn't take out anyone at all though, I had my Crobat use X-Scissor and Dark Pulse against Deoxys, didn't even hurt it, tried to confuse it and keep that up but one recover is basically like restarting the Delta Episode in case you killed Deoxys. X-Scissor should be more promising than Dark Pulse but even then, it takes out only a quarter of it's HP.

hypnosis you casuals
My Gardevoir knows Hypnosis but that's inaccurate and even then, it's defense requires at least 3-4 hits to take it out, what's being used in the button mashing in an attempt to wake it up? Recover.

You really should teach one of your Pokemon taunt.

@Sargent¥
- Taunt makes Deoxys useless.
- If you think a correctly trained Ferrothorn would have died to a non-STAB flamethrower you really dont know what it's capable of. Also Drain Punch wont do shit lol.
- There are ubers way more annoying than Deoxys-D, believe me.

Plus, I think that battling with more strategy than just the easy, simplistic super-effective system is more fun. Sorry dude, that's just how it is.
If you don't want to fight me again I understand, because it cant be fun when you're being swept, but you're acting like I am some sort of douche for using actual strategy, which just is not fair.
We just like to play the game different ways, if you dont like my way enough to stop fighting me than that's okay, no hard feelings. Although, Creeper and Waffles are going to be using similar strats and I assume eventually Kyle will be too by the way he is talking. I suggest you at least take some advice before writing us off.

This may be finals shock syndrome talking but I'm not really in the mood to make an online team. I would love to at least transfer my sacred sword Aegislash over to OR at the very least though. He's too good to not use.
