Invalid Pointless ban

  • If you are not the person that was banned/muted, you are only allowed to post evidence. Trash talk is unnecessary.

So I had just got in the skial 2fort eu 1 server, quoted demo saying: LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S DO IIIIIIIIIIIT. And then chose my class as demo. Then this guy Brassie insults me, I argue, he keeps on insulting, argument is unpleasant, I vote to gag him, he's gagged. Then a couple of minutes later, an admin bans me for vote abuse for an entire WEEK.
So gagging an asshole is now vote abuse? Good server admins you got there.
 
If he replies to this, I'll obviously be still banned since he's the one that banned me. I did not do anything wrong to be banned. And the other two times, one was for kicking a guy named Pwny mcPwn Pwn that kept saying pwned and pwned like a bitch whenever he killed someone, the other was for making a joke that basically commented about the demoknight: Nigga with a sword. Which said I was banned for racism. Seems like your admins take stuff too seriously.

Racism is not allowed in any way, we try to keep all players happy and that's not possible if we allow offensive stuff like racism. About the Pwny guy, you could have made a ban appeal and an admin would have looked into it.
 
I understand, and back then I didn't know what a ban appeal is. I mean if I'm supposed to make a ban appeal and not ban him myself, then what's the use of votemenu?
So am I going to get unbanned or what?
 
Just for reference, I have several admins as friends. The amount of stuff that happens on 2Fort- I need several admins as friends.
Things such as Hacking and griefing- Ask Lano or Zombie- Lotsa stuff happens on 2Fort...
 
I gagged him because he insulted me for no reason except that he hates me. I don't think insulting is allowed*Tsk Tsk* If you're not going to unban me, then ban him too.

Yeah, that's not an accurate ban for "abuse" unless you did it multiple times. Also, you might want to link your steam account so we can check out the chat history on hlstats.

You do have a point. If we banned everyone for insulting people, nobody would insult anyone.
That's because we'd ban everyone, therefore there would be nobody in the server to insult anyone.
 
Actually, if you banned people who insulted each other, they'd mostly have temporary bans, so when they are unbanned, they realized that insulting others is not a good idea, and therefore will stop.

He insulted me, I simply voted to gag him, I didn't try to gag everyone or kept trying to gag him over and over after he got ungagged.
