Not sure if it was a DDOS attack, but half the server's pings spiked to 500+. In the past, I've seen "DDOS attack attempted" or something similar. The server was full and within 15 minutes dead. I noticed it happened about 30 minutes earlier, and then I reported this one.

It was a DDoS attack on a neighboring server. This is what the host said.

It looks like there was a brief attack in Chicago about that time, but not on your specific server. It may have been enough to affect things though. Things look smooth after that point, though.
