Not sure exactly where to put this but last night at around 11:.30 pm on Texas Turbine this is I encounter a group of players with no name. Rather than having squares in their name in which the game does not recognize the character each player had a blank space for the name.
As you can see I had chuck there to get these guys in line since they were intel griefing, and at one point mic spam in which chuck silenced. My issue with this is that these guy came here with the clear intention to mess with the sever, and by having no name makes a admin have to actually go through each steamid to see exactly who is doing what. Cause usually if i see someone intel griefing i will just take a screenshot grab their steamids from the status command, then finally either contact a admin through messaging or make a report in which the griefers will be delt with later. However when I see this
that shit caught me off guard, I did not know wtf to make of this. In all my hours of tf2 I never seen a person with no name.
So I'm kinda not sure as to what the protocol is here do I just contact an admin when I see that a player has no name or wait for them to do something against the rules then contact someone/ make a report. Cause at first they were peaceful until they started to intel grief and then try to micspam.
Chuck was able to issue the proper punishment to each of the no names or rather the ones that were breaking the rules, I'm just posting this so that I can get some feedback in case I run into something like this again in the future
