A Sneaky Mango

I am a fairly active tf2 trader, so does Dota share a market like tf2's? Also, what would be good items to try and get? Thanks, Mango

The Dota 2 trade market is really not stable. Dota2traders.com is a place to see more active trade. The "iconic" items like Bills and Buds are Battlefury, Dragonclaw Hook and Vintage Timebreaker.

Trading is still really unstable since a lot of items are being released very very often. Sven was right, some of the "currency" is keys but the big ticket items are Battlefury, Dragonclaw, and Timebreaker. These are VERY hard to come back and VERY expensive.

As far as item tags go I believe it is Common (light blue) > Uncommon (blue) > Rare (dark blue) >Mythical (purple) > Legendary (pink) > Ancient (red) > Immortal (orange) > Arcana (green) and of course Unusual (dark purple) and Strange (orange)

Ancient never drops, Arcana is very new, Strange and Unusual are only unboxed. Everything else drops, Common drops the most often, immortal drops least often.

It's not like TF2 where you can only trade. You have to actually play the game.

You can check cyborgmatt (dot) com for game updates and item additions in patches. New account won't allow links to be posted, so sorry about that.
