I understand that "unpopular" maps have been removed from the server, but I, along with many other players would like to see new maps and would like some of the old ones back. It would be greatly appreciated. I compiled a list of maps that I am suggesting...

Here are the maps that I suggest you bring back.

It isn't true. And we even block the last 3 maps from showing up.

I don't see why we need to manually prevent the most popular maps from showing up normally.
I know this suggestion is declined, and I'd hate to further anything that may have been settled.

But the reason why some regulars wish a map block is because the most popularly voted maps are very easy for hale fighters. Health packs, sniper dens, ground-impact stopping water and other attributes are why these maps are chosen. The people who vote for these maps are referred to as point hogs or "point wh***s," as they choose maps which are easy for them. Granted, they are popular, but this cycle causes famous maps to constantly be revoted, (There can be days where we alone only play 3 maps: crevice, military area, and weapons depot) and it kicks out other maps that had potential. It's the reason why you'll see this on other custom servers, not just VSH's.

If most people get tired of playing on those maps then they won't be picked.

I don't see why we should let the regs have more control over what maps are going to be played if that is not what most people want to play.

We record the average population of each map so we never have maps that are frequently picked but people actually hate playing.

This still doesn't cover everything
When people are seeding the server it's easier to pick an unpopular map. When more people join, the chances of only the popular ones being picked is much higher, thus giving lesser known maps a lower average population, if I'm correct.

I don't see any evidence that seeders prefer different maps compared to everyone else.

So popular maps have an equal chance of being picked when there's few people.

Spotline and Warebloom (Original):
I know why you want these, Engie camping spots. This was really unfair for hale since when engies had a camp set up properly with heavies and medics it was nearly impossible to get in and hale usually had no way of winning.

Oilrig:
Just plz no, too small and too many places to fall off.
More people die falling off on this map than from hale.

Aperture:
Too big, and basically the problems of Warebloom and Oilrig combined.
