Try it, it won't work.

If you don't want to client mute and the vote doesn't pass it offers you to drag your ass to the forum and make a report here. In which case 90% of the people just rather double click on another server in their favourites. Problem solved.

yeah that makes total since. Why take 5 seconds to client mute when you can spend 5 minutes reporting him.

I have never seen someone complain because they "didn't want to client mute" someone.

Micspam is against the rules.

It's getting very arduous to have this conversation about "they should just client mute" when the rule has always been there. Especially now that we don't have to ban for it with the new comms block and we can enforce the rule without losing players.
