Let’s Talk about skial’s awful anti cheat
For those who don’t know skial uses a console script as anti cheat just like many minecraft servers which is pretty good at eliminating blatant cheaters.
The difference between minecraft server’s anti cheats and SMAC (Skial’s) is that most of the time minecrafts admin will get a notification and the cheater would be kicked from the server after he has completed some kind of parameter (eg. mause spamming).SMAC work in a similar way but instead of kicking the “cheater” it bans the player instantly after three violations
Now, the problem with these anti cheats is that they can receive a lot of false positive, especially SMAC that checks for mouse movements.
