I have played with the accused "hacker" in question for so long, I can tell you they do not hack. They get accused of hacking on Disc-FF Idle 24/7 #1 servers on average three times a week, and you can ask one of their admins to confirm this for you. They don't hack and they don't have any proof to back it up. You can feel free to spectate the play while they're still here if you're unsure who's side is right.

Right, let me tell you a story here.

Last week I met Minxy on the server, just as usual I play a bit of tf2 on a turbine server I haven't been doing else whenever I played tf2 the last 4 years. I got confronted with a force I have never felt before, something I have strangely felt much much more the past month I am playing, only with snipers. But I just let it go, I never immediately accuse anyone of hacking, also because I never really confronted a hacker.

Now yesterday, something interesting happened. A guy named 'pjt' showed up with the exact same movements Minxy (and a bunch of other snipers I met in the past weeks) make and the exact same obscure KD ratio. This guy, ran off the server when he got accused. Arguments are: private account, multiple people spectating his behaviour, his silent behaviour in chat and his KD ratio. To make clear, I wasn't aware of anything yet and got into this by another bunch of players that accused him of hacking.

However, after this it became clear for me what the hell is going on. Every sniper I met that showed the same obscure behaviour is exactly doing what I now expect. Such as today I met Minxy again. The private account, the KD ratio, the silent behaviour in the chat. And obviously when I spectate, they know very well what I am doing. This is exactly what happened with PJT, the reason why he didn't got banned immediately. And tell you what: PJT is now banned, permanently.

What am I trying to tell with this? There is something going on at the server, in particular with snipers. It seems to be easy to mask an aimbot when playing sniper. Many players are afraid of getting players against them when telling someone is using an aimbot. Still everytime it remains obscurely quiet when someone talks about it and sometimes (like yesterday) your already existing thought gets confirmed. Just as yesterday now I had a bunch of players standing behind me with the same accuse, even from the opposing team. I am telling you, there seem to be many snipers going loose with some extra help.

Just some information about me related to TF2:
  • Playing TF2 in periods for around 6 years now
  • Playing (only) sniper huntsman for around 4 years on turbine, I have experience in opposing long distance snipers and sense a certain amount of skill someone can have. This mount sound shit and like bragging, but if you have as many or even more experience you can feel things like that.
  • Have been highly ranked on saigns, when the server was in it's busiest times
 
I do not know who pjt is, and neither does she. She mains sniper and has been playing it for so many years. You can just join her other games, where she CONSTANTLY gets accused for hacking, and every accuser gets banned/warned by the admin for report abuse. In short, you're not the only one, but spectating specific movements barely means a thing as the delay between you spectating her and what she actually sees, along with spectator mode being broken to begin with, is quite inaccurate. The VAC ban she has is unrelated, as it was for a MW3 FOV changer.

If she was a hacker then she'd be long gone, and SMAC will tell you that.

Ahh i see.

I don't see any reason to silence him for trying to ban someone he thought was hacking. Thats what the system is there for.

Just get evidence from now on and post it on the forums instead of calling more votes.
 
I will continue to gain evidence and play now and then at the server. I have no idea how to gain evidence when the aimbot users can see you are spectating, but you never know if I get lucky and slip through. Like yesterday it got so obvious that the player himself left, that's exactly what I am aiming for.
 
I won't focus that much on Minxy then for now, still it's hard to play with someone that shows a lot of similarities with a player that has been banned the day before. I will see what happens.
