I don't ping mask though. If you type ping in console it tells you my real ping. If i was masking it would show up in there as well i would assume. I just type in a command in terminal and it makes my ping on the scoreboard appear 1.

A lot of people know the general area of where i live, so im not paranoid of anything.

No, I don't think there is any way to obscure someone's ping while typing 'ping' in console. Ping masks only work on scoreboards.
