ok now a cpl questions..

It is working now..but how often can i change it. If i use one is that the one i have forever or can i randomly change it.

Also my plunger was pink..it is now red..does it change the color of the painted item when you use it?

the /hat command is broken in that the color does not correctly assign, so you'll have to have the standard color for the unusual effect.

Actually, the color thing may have gotten fixed, I haven't tried it in a while. If you want to go through the trouble of finding the number of the color you can try.

The hat command needs two numbers after it, one for the effect, second for the paint. If you only enter one the hat will be default painted, since no colour was defined.

You can paint any colour though, not only the ones exist in tf2, also, roaming with blue tyrants helm as red is sooo amusing : )

That's what I have binded in my config:

bind "p" "say /hat 1 16777215"
bind "[" "say /hat 29 16777215"
bind "]" "say /hat 13 16777215"
Works like a charm.

Why this command doesn't work for you? Because you're trying to type it in console.
  • If you are typing this in console, do the following: say /hat...
  • If you are typing this in chat, then it should be /hat...

This Thread is full of retardation. If you're not helping the guy try to fix the problem he's having with the /hat command, why post?

Like most have suggested, you probably entered your Steam ID wrong.

It was established that he did link his profile url incorrectly. Plus he's using the commands wrong.
