Well here's an interesting story I just learned today.
My grandparents bought a slave when they were about 30 years old that served them until they died, after that he was "inherited" by my parents where he served them for 2 years before his own death which was 1 year before I was even born.
And I thought slavery was long gone but apparently I was mistaken.
