Declined Instant kick when a ban is issued

I'm confused. Doesn't that happen already, when a mod bans a player? Or are we talking about something completely different?
 
Wouldn't this require the plugin to be constantly checking with sourcebans to see if there are any banned users currently connected?
It's easier just to go ingame and kick them, if need be.

If you write a ban in Sourcebans instead of via /ban, it doesn't kick them in-game.

I know, but it just seemed like something more convenient, like last time I reported some racist in idle, Cinic issued the ban but still had to open the game to kick him, it just seems better for the admin.

This only happens because the servers are not in sourcebans. I beleive bottiger said soucebans cannot support all of our servers. i dont remember though

This is if it's coming from Sourcebans. The voteban function on the server SHOULD kick the person. Adding it the Sourcebans database happens after that.

OP talking about source bans not voteban. The voteban does kick from game. cylosis banned some one today through sourceban but he was not kicked from the game. He was technically banned but he was still playing in the server & that just doesnt seem right.

Oh, I read the post wrong. We don't have the servers in sourcebans since it exposes the rcon password.

Then he should have joined the game to kick him.

SB kind of assumes that it has a connection to servers. I think we're pretty much just using it as a store and not so much interaction. Bottiger probably hacked it a bit to do what it does now.

Also, all admins have the ability to connect via console even when the server is full.
