I'm looking to come back after years of not playing, but I have some questions.
From the look of it, quite a few people still play. But will I even stand a chance? Are the remaining players really good while I can still barely aim after 1000 hours? I would always get my ass handed to me unless I was an engie on defense, and even then, sometimes I'd get nailed hard.
How do I avoid those bots? Are they only on casual/Valve servers? Can I avoid them by using community servers?
Are the more "fun" mods like TF2Ware and UberUpgrades still a thing? Those were my favorites. That and Freak Fortress/Hale. This includes fun maps too!
Are there community servers where I can just play whatever gamemode on a rotation of maps without having to deal with the Casual mode stuff? Other than Skial servers, anyway. If Skial is literally the only option, fine.
