this video is very well done what program did you use vidanjor

For some demos i used "Lawena Recording Tool" - https://code.google.com/p/lawenarecordingtool/ it makes you able to record high quality clips even with bad/decent computer. But it takes too much time to record with this program. I used Fraps on some other demos to speed up the recording process.

For editing good ol' Sony Vegas.

Just going to say that while i'm not busy with the university and got bored, i still make some lil vids. And rather than making a thread for every single one, i would like to use the first (this) thread i made, i'll edit the first post and necrobump this one from time to time, if this is not against rules or something ofc. No it can't. I am not saying my video or skill is better, but think before you reply.

1st off my video had none of the things i just said above in it.

My video is taken all from a competitive environment where the teams actually practice and talk to people. Generally the gameplay level in HL is a lot more difficult than any pub.

My video shows streaks of kills. Anywhere from 2 kills to 5/6/7 in a row. His show 1 kill, maybe 2. Then onto the next clip. Again, anyone can do that.

Nothing I did was spam or sneaky. I didn't use the sticky jumper to get behind a sniper, taunt kill him and make a video out of it. Anyone can make a video doing that.

Why don't you try to make a sniper video in HL and see how far it gets you. Then try making a sniper video in a pub. See how easy it is.

If he is making this video to show off skill, then he is doing it wrong. If he just wanted to make a random video. Then i guess its a good video? But its far from impressive. Gameplay wise.

there is nothing impressive about your frags, it's mostly about timing and luck based on whether or not the enemies are on your sightlines (although game sense matters here)

single kills that look awesome are more entertaining than lame streaks and that is why i don't make scout frag videos (it's hard to do anything cool as a scout)

Perhaps now this thread is resurrected, @KillerZebra could show us how he thinks a frag/tf2 video should be put together, maybe he can use the frags he made from his EPIC battle with ruelel last weekend. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to make.
