He's right about the not having to fight, however, he is wrong about everyone's maturity level here... Sometimes this forum makes me feel like it's a playground and we are a bunch of kids messing around and doing stupid shit.

And rating each other's posts dumb
Pal, you've been here for nearly a month, You joined literally a year after I did. From my more experienced experience, Skial is a loving community filled with lovely shitheads who don't take each other too seriously, by rating all my posts dumb in this thread you're just showing you have no idea how Skial is run. Hint: It's a goofy place.

Also, I gave you two out of those seven internets of yours, respect your elders and Tomatketchup it's called.

Since you're a rookie and I don't hold grudges however, I'll give you an Agree mark to show that it's okay to be a noob here.

Example: A very immature argument starts. You can chose to either join the argument, stand aside and watch the argument or walk away. If the argument were on the same level as a playground, then you would most likely choose to leave for it are to no interest for you.

You have the decision to either lower yourself to their level, or to be mature about it and walk away. If you believe the forum is like a playground sometimes, do not lower yourself and argue back. Just turn around and be the more mature person to not engage them. Remember, the decision to act are chosen by you. Nobody but yourself will chose if the act of action will be passive, aggressive or defensive. Your act and its consequences should never be blamed on anyone but yourself for it, for it was you that took the decision to act.

You see now, StaticVoid? hXcjedders here is a total douchebag. Do I give him a dumb rating? No, because I don't care, because it's the internet and taking each other seriously here is just stupid.

However, that doesn't mean I didn't change my mind about sparing his tiny white Legionaire ass from my Mandekalu cavalry this Saturday.

So I come to see a video, look down in the comments to see what people think.
Bitching. Bitching everywhere. Get the fuck over yourselves. I bet not once did you consider that no one gives a fuck about your feelings of not caring over someone else not caring about you.
It was my fault for looking at the comments I guess, what can I expect from the internet?

Find me a youtube video that doesn't have people arguing with each other and you have found the holy grail of the internet.

Nominated for Biggest Hypocrite Reward 2013.

Vidanjor: I like the video in the whole. The music choice is pretty robust and the video is enjoyable to watch because you added a lot of variation between classes and maps, you did not drag out a specific map/class too much!

What I would like to see for a future video is that you add a few clips where you chain-kill in different ways, but please keep the big variation between different clips for it made the video a lot better!

No it can't. I am not saying my video or skill is better, but think before you reply.

1st off my video had none of the things i just said above in it.

My video is taken all from a competitive environment where the teams actually practice and talk to people. Generally the gameplay level in HL is a lot more difficult than any pub.

My video shows streaks of kills. Anywhere from 2 kills to 5/6/7 in a row. His show 1 kill, maybe 2. Then onto the next clip. Again, anyone can do that.

Nothing I did was spam or sneaky. I didn't use the sticky jumper to get behind a sniper, taunt kill him and make a video out of it. Anyone can make a video doing that.

Why don't you try to make a sniper video in HL and see how far it gets you. Then try making a sniper video in a pub. See how easy it is.

If he is making this video to show off skill, then he is doing it wrong. If he just wanted to make a random video. Then i guess its a good video? But its far from impressive. Gameplay wise.

you're playing sniper. no skill involved in that class at all

go to the replay folder in you tf folder and send me the contents or such. Or look at:

<--- he has a tutorial on how to send replays.

The Internet: Where things happen and no one cares but sometimes they do.

Not related to the argument, just my thoughts.

There is no real competitive TF2, what we have under UGC, ETF2L and even in ESEA Invite is nowhere near what "competitive" means in other games. Serious e-sport have sponsored teams with managers so they have nothing to worry about apart from playing, while competitive TF2 is mostly kids playing after school.

Yes, Valve could be blamed for not holding a tournament with $1M first prize, but the thing is that TF2 isn't as much fun to watch, and low attendance doesn't attract the money to the game (TI3 qualifiers going on this week with second tier teams attract 20-30k viewers on GD Studios and Tobiwan's twitch each, plus 50k spectators ingame, with no idea how many people additional people are on Russian or Chinese streams too... How many people watched the showmatch with Epsilon Esports the other day?).
