I agree with quite literally. everything else in the rules, however. I feel as though this particular one is quite worrying.

I understand that playing music can be quite annoying, or harmful to the acts of others, but, I feel as though a middle-ground being reached would be awesome.

Will it be possible to, instead. Edit the rule so that " Playing music is allowed, so long as everyone within the server is okay with it. If somebody has a problem with it. Then they aren't allowed to play music, and are subject to gags, etc. "

And, enforcing the idea that the /ignore command and /votemenu + Gag commands exist would also help to improve the positivity of Skial. So that if they do not desire to listen to that person's music, then they can simply mute them.

They had it EXACTLY that and it caused too many issues, hence why it was changed.

Well, people just don't seem to be aware that the !ignore command exists. I feel as though bringing that particular command to light could help out.

People also don't seem to be aware that earrape isn't allowed on the servers despite there being a motd pop-up that shows the rules everytime they join a Skial server and still do it. There are problems on both sides and should be addressed as such. There's a pop-up in game that says "You can use the !ignore feature to mute a player in the server." and people still don't get it. You could put it on a wall in every server saying that feature and people will still not understand. They are dumb and always will be dumb. I've seen admins even directly tell people "Hey, you can type !ignore username so you can't hear them." and they still would not get the hint. Honestly, most micspammers just cannot handle themselves at all with a majority I've seen across multiple servers just being earrape, racism, ear shattering voice clips from soundboards, overbearing music. It's not just "oh people don't know how to mute that's why this happened" it's more that most people micspamming refuse to chill the fuck out, thus they lose privileges for everybody because of it.

I just feel hurt, honestly. I don't feel as though one guy should be able to ruin the fun for everyone. Earrape is obviously bad for everyone, and music can be to an extent. A majority of the songs I play are quite normal in volume, and I sometimes make them even lower to avoid pestering people. What exactly caused this rule to take place? Because if it's possible, we should instead, make a list for who is, and who isn't allowed to play music.

just mad because you micspam
Micspam implies a negative multitude of actions with it, such as earrape, taking over chat, and flooding audio. I see it more as a fine talent. Saying that someone is simply " mad " is gravely unfortunate, and brings light to the kind of people that could be responsible for this rule being added to begin with.

There really isn't anything to worry about. Actual decent mic spammers are such a rare breed that they aren't even worth considering. Not sure why some people are freaking out that micspamming is no longer allowed at all like what, is not being allowed to play noises over the microphone honestly THAT hard on you? Is it just an impossibility to prevent yourself from playing obnoxious sounds in a server you play on? If that's the case then it sounds like the problem isn't the update of the rules, it's you.

Well, it's not necessarily that. I just feel as though Me, among a few other notable members of the community have already distinguished themselves enough from the " bad micspam earrapist " stereotype enough that, I don't feel as though one person should have the power to completely ruin the experience for everyone, music provides a multitude of ways for people to have fun on Skial, whether it's action music to get people's blood pumping, or the funny meme that gets people to laugh. I'm not saying that " oh yeah lmao I think I should be immune to this rule " as that wouldn't be fair. And in adding this rule, it causes people to try, and seek out the boundry of what is micspam, and what isn't. Whether it's the length of the audio, or the volume of sound being played over the mic.

Not to mention, People just don't seem to understand that the !ignore command exists, and !votemenu exists for gagging or ignoring players who are playing terrible music that they, or other people don't enjoy.

Hell, give us a dedicated command telling people that " Hey. You know you can !ignore X player, right? "

But it isn't just "one" or "few" people, it is many and the report section can show you just that. When they bad start to outweight the good, action has to be taken and when that isn't enough then you need to cut it loose. Good micspammers are in the minority while the earrapists are the majority and spoil the bunch as a whole. A lot of them do it with the intention to harm and votemutes are so poorly rigged that they don't pass most of the time. Now they either just talk, or they don't talk and just type or stay quiet entirely.

And once again, this argument works both ways as I stated in my second post and leans more against your favor.

Let's see now
You kept saying me and badger had an agenda against you when we kept vote muting you for spamming music on mic. You then saved a recording of my voice and starting playing it on the ff2 server. You later apologized for that and said you would delete it. Guess what, you never did and you still keep playing it every now and then. This just shows that you're not a "good mic spammer".
There is no need to seek out what the boundary for mic spam is, it's literally written clear that playing music is against the rules and I assume so are voice clips and anything of the sort through a soundboard.
You're only worried about it because it's the only basis of your personality on the ff2 server and you've even admitted that to herp. People join the game to play the game, not listen to music that you play.

car sex?

It's honestly not that hard to stop doing it either. I micspammed for the longest time early on when I played in the server, and I eventually just stopped because I realized how unnecessary and annoying it could be.

Just use your mic normally to speak or talk in text chat. You don't need to build your entire personality around a soundboard.

Seeing the type of people that get upset over micspam not being allowed, I can only assume they use micspam as an outlet because they struggle to interact socially so they just play random shit to compensate instead of, you know, talking like a regular human being. Which is dumb and only further harms their social skills.
