I've been doing what I've always been doing, playing a Friendly Sandvich Heavy and this admin comes in and bans me for a day for tossing a sandwich to a burning medic for "friendly griefing".

There has been some issue with other players partying in the intel room and I believe he also banned another person for it as well.

Even if there is a rule against that, a 1 day ban is pretty harsh especially without a warning given.

We don't have to give warnings and 1 day ban is standard for first offense. You were doing nothing but crouch walking with a sandvich which falls under the server rule of "griefing." To top it off, I was informed that you were in fact warned by another admin.
 
That's their discretion. I gave multiple server warnings to stop and some people even told me to "bring it."

People stopped after they saw others getting banned. All I wanted was for people to resume normal play but nobody stopped so I picked people as I saw them. You should have stopped when I first asked and this whole incident could have been avoided.

So by your logic somebody can break rules and when someone else gets it, they can throw up their arms, say sorry and walk away scot-free? Not even if they did it for a longer period or more than the punished?

Most of the server was doing it and I would prefer not to empty it over this. Either way, I'm done responding to this. You have my say. If another admin finds this objectionable, they will step in.

It's not about whether or not they're sorry. It's about whether or not the admin catches someone in the act. Jedders saw you griefing and banned you for it. He may not have seen everyone who was griefing since they stopped before he could catch them in the act but that doesn't make them above the rules. If someone was recording a demo of them griefing and showed it to an admin, they would get banned too. Admins are people who don't pick favorites. That's why they're the admins.
 
and its also not admin abuse... considering you were breaking a rule... o.O It's not like he banned you because your hat wasn't cool enough.
