I'm going to presume that the information in "What are Australium Points? (AP)" is up to date.

Just play. You will get points for every minute played as long as you stay longer than 15 minutes.

From this - I would presume that AP updates every minute, starting at the 16th minute that you've been on a server.

Yeah I just tried this with a timer at 16min and 20min and it didn't update until I rejoined the server.
