From that second video from 1:01 on, it is apparent he is doing some kind of hacking.....Do you see how he snaps to the scout then turns so quickly that the walls glitch out? Even with my top mouse senseitivity, I have never been able to do THAT. The only thing saving this guy from being obvious is the large time in TF2, however, I still believe he is hacking. I have seen bette snipers than him that cannot pull off the kind of stuff he does. Other than hacking, he has some kind of sensetivity script, sound script that turns down everything than footsteps, gunfire and cloak sounds...I know, I have uncloaked about 100 feet behind him as a invisiwatch - saharen spy...and he still heard me. My verdict is that he is a hacker, this is intensified by the fact that he NEVER once tried to defend himself in-game.

By "still heard me" you mean he turned around, headshot killed you 1/10 of a second after you decloaked, and turned around again? If that is the case, same thing happened to me, more than once.

I concur this isn't nearly enough evidence. There is maybe one or two shots at maximum that are suspect - and in answer to that everyone gets lucky sometimes. He just seems like a really really good sniper, who like good snipers quickscopes. The ones where he turns you can clearly hear footsteps....I highly doubt he was hacking - but if he were this is not enough proof of anything.

Legit sniper??

Possibly, there are some good premium players(people that bought tf2 before it came f2p) still out there, but rarely seen. Looks like average lag to me, but i shouldnt speak for that, unless i see it myself. plus, it's not wall hack.

I watched the demo and it just seems like his sensitivity is low, his volume is way up and he has the mouse room to flail a 360 if he freaks out.

I dunno, a few months ago common advice for snipers having trouble with head shots from better snipers was to make passes at the head instead of lining up the shot. This behavior seems consistent with that advice. That and he's not tracking people in spawn or in Intel ever. If he was wallhacking I'd expect he'd line up the shot a little bit more before they came into view.

Spies are really loud. I don't know why people don't understand that.

Agree, maybe the context of my answer is lost, do you think i would be so basic as to complain if he hears me uncloak behind him? Like the original poster I am replying to, we are refering to situations where you are many yards away from the player, he is being distracted by a lot of action at his front, and you decloak, lets say in the top corner on the right side of the ledge in turbine when he is near the enemy entrance to the enemy intel hallway (bottom left corner), he pulls an instantaneous 180, headshots you up there and far away, then turns around to continue fighting the whole enemy team in front of him.

Lemme set the scene for myself. so you are up on the catwalk in mid and decloak in the corner with the stairs on his side of mid. He's standing where exactly?

I don't know in the second video he was missing a lot to be aimbotting, and I didn't see anything that looked like wall hacks

I have been playing since december 2007, I have never seen this shit on people that re not aimbotters. Only time I have ever seen this is when people actually take the time to stay scoped in then not as quickly, but still preatty quickly, shift their view. Seriously, if this guy is not hacking, he (or she) needs to get away from the computer.

Which cloak were you using? Which door did you use?

(reasoning, I can hear people when they walk up on the catwalk above me and when they drop from the top on the left they make a squish noise. If you came out of the garage door that also makes a pretty loud noise. If you are using the invisiwatch all I would need to do is count down internally, if you dead rang across or needed to dead ring there's another finite timer AND I would have been able to hear you uncloak even at that distance. If you came out of the garage and were fast routing around I could guess where you would be if I were paying attnetion.)

God I wish i could aim well enough to be able to play as well as I know I could. ._.

Maybe I also should have mentioned some of my background, since nobody knows me here, and they could rightfully think of me as a whiner.

I have been playing FPS online games since May 2003, that's nine years, and I have plenty of experience with game cheats, have played in cheat servers, where cheats where allowed, encorauged, and researched.

I have personally seen people play with humanized aimbots for months and never being detected, not by other players, and not by any anti-cheat protection measures. FYI, VAC or PunkBuster or any other form of cheat detection are useless.

I was able to dominate him as a sniper after he was unbanned. Even zeebs knows im not the best sniper. I think he is just really good. There is nothing here that really show wall hacks help him.

So resorting to ad hominem proves what? Let´s say for a moment, for the sake of the argument, that he is a lousy player. Does that prevent him from being able the observe the game events and draw logical conclusions from what he observed? I don´t think so.

I am just replying to you, because the ad hominem attack is the typical fallacy to dismiss cheat accusations.

I think the attack is more of a 'I don't think you're good enough to know how good a person can get naturally.' not just 'ur bad'

I'm still not seeing what the problem is... but I have radar dishes instead of ears so whatever.

Oh cmon! The stick figures are not enough?? Anyway it's just anecdotal evidence, no demos recorded, just my recollection of the events, or Chuker34's. Just a background as to why this guy set off my cheater alarm.

you're the XXsupersniperXX guy that day? you moving is not agile and aiming bit slow, thats why I dominated you twice and easily, you style still kind of standing&charge, that style is lethal to being a sniper.

There ARE pro snipers that play turbine. King Snipe is good... Bopper is great... nobody is accusing these guys of cheating. OldFart isn't just trying to be a whiner, he's got legit concerns. Clearly this will require more demo's. You shall have more demos. Check out the videos again... in slow motion they look normal, but bear in mind these snap shoot-and back is happening in 1/8-1/10 of a second.
