I blame American people for not being able to pay their debts and control their spending abilities. I also blame George Bush for administering this country in a stupid manner. Obama got bad inheritance - I can't blame him for that.

Would you like to know why we are in debt? We spend more money on the Department of Defense than the next 26 countries combined spend on their equivalent.

If there was some sort of guarantee that it would fix these problems, then I'd say go for it. It'd be the best millions(billions, however much) the country had spent.(Next to the land purchases)
But, it'd probably be a waste of time and money since the majority of politicians aren't exactly saints.

I don't remember where I heard it, but we spent more on air conditioning for the troops stationed in the Middle East than we did for the entire budget of NASA.

You do understand how much of the budget NASA gets right? It's a huge number yet tiny compared to the big picture.

They should give NASA 40% of the budget so that they can build colonies on the moon. Then all of us who don't want to put up with this shit that the government makes us endure can just go there.

Yeah, I know that they get quite a bit of money, but compared to the other programs that are being funded it's a drop in a bucketful.

America's reputation can't get worse, anyways. And about poking it's nose everywhere, other countries fucking tell America to do things about problems, like in Syria. Then they yell at the USA for going and doing things in those countries. GG
