Glass Desk; laser doesnt like. That and you wear the feet out on wood quicker.

I use this one and its great. Two sides; one slows things down a little though thats redundant if your mouse has on the fly DPI adjustment.

I look forward to Newegg and Steam sales every year. For the last 3 years in a row, I have built a new rig during those sales :D
 
i doubt my dad will buy it online so ill probably stick with the computer i posted in the first post

Gaming mousepads help Alot IMO, you don't have to worry about your mouse getting off the pad and there's more mouse moving space

This one is actually the best so far.
 
Seriously gaming mouses and keyboard are just a waste of money, i already played on a steelseries keyboard and mouse set and it was the same sheet as using a normal mouse and keyboard.

[EDIT] I got a GT220 pc with a Core i3 and 2 GB Ram, and i run tf2 maxed out smooth as a baby skin

[EDIT²] The best you can get nowdays its a Core i7 Extreme, ATi 5970 16GB Ram, as far i know
