I also have been trying to find a list of terms you all use that I am not familiar with since playing this game. Found out the "griefing" definition from someone and daily a new one will come up and dont really need to prove my noobness by asking what they mean because the last time I was laughed off a server lol. You guys have been great as far as forum help and server kindness I just want to learn what I can so I can help keep it fun on them. Thanks again!

Thats the thing since I have never seen or heard them I have forgot. I will start writing them down and when I get a list I will ask instead of one by one. Im sure the ones that would get me in major trouble are basic I don't think I am a asshat. That opinion might be wrong though my better half would tell you.

If you're referring about random internet terms I suggest urban dictionary. If there's a internet term / slang out there, urban dictionary will more than likely have the definition.

Skial defines griefing as intentionally harming your team for an extended period of time. This definition isn't going to change tomorrow or the day after, so just know this one and stay on Skial servers, and you should be safe. If there's anything else you're confused about, you can add one of us regs or one of our mods and ask away.

So knowing that my game play is terrible and staying on the server is actually breaking that rule....man I have to get better quick then!!! HAHAHA

I think you'll find that people more commonly refer to those weapons as KGB and GRU.
On the subject of weapon acronyms, FaN is commonly used to refer to the Force-a-Nature, RL is commonly used to refer to the rocket launcher, HHHH is the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, and while it isn't an acronym, Kritz is used to refer to the Kritzkrieg.

Actually... none of them are Acronyms, acronyms are abbreviations that form Words.. such as RAM.

But on that note.

People usually don't care if you don't know what it means, just ask :)

I guess another question would be is there a certain game that is better at learning the classes? I play on payload mostly with some CP and CTF or is it all about the same? Stupid questions I know but I figure that with the time I do have in this game I should be getting somewhat better... or don't want to admit im over the hill on game playing :p

2fort, turbine and doublecross were my first maps i ever did and I still use them since they are so fun. Turbine teaches you how to act when you in close quarters and double cross teaches you long distance and how to move quickly around a map and stuff like that.

I remember when I was beginning TF2 I sucked alot. I didnt know anything about. "metal", "trading and trade servers" I was pretty bad and can only use soldier to spam rockets and a distraction:)

You'll get used to it. It takes some time and some exploring and you'll get it.

Griefing would be more or less something along the lines of doing something like grabbing the intel and just hanging out and not capping it or attempting to at all.

Just keep on playing, you won't master a class within a couple hours. I Just wouldn't recommend going spy/sniper when your team already has 2; I bitch at anyone that's stupid enough to do that. Also consider watching some videos on how to improve on tf2 and how to play that class. Some of those videos are useful

just remeber TF2 does NOT save you KD/R, score or anything it only saves you best score on each class and how long you have liked in each class without dying. so don't worry about dying and that you are ruined like some people think.

Well, since TF2 doesnt have a level system and does not track any of your stats, you cant get kicked for sucking. Theres some people that are really into the game and will get mad if you do not do well, but its just best to ignore them.
