Don't know if serious or?
I don't really mean to sound like a jerk. I'm new to the forums, don't really know if he's been through this. I expect spamming to be repetition of words or advertisements. Or just annoying sounds in a mic.

DEAR MOTHER OF FUCKING CHRIST. SPAMMING IS FUCKING SPAMMING, DEAL THE FUCK WITH IT.

Alright my man, he's kept it civil, he's just a tad ignorant of the situation. I'm not speaking for bottinger but from experience any time that your mic is continuously on regardless of what's being played or said, it's mic spamming.

Fuck civil, OP is a retard.

Every time I join Saxton Hale you are spamming the same few songs I've heard thousands of times from other micspammers, and I have to readd you to my muted list along with 6 other people every single time I decide to join that server.

like someone said earlier, many micspammers applying after Ruelel laid down the law.

It literally seems like they are applying SOLELY so they can have it permitted while they're there.

Idea:

addition to the admin app format

"Why do you want to become an admin?"

their answers would be

"so we can micspam, duh"

or

"because people are getting in trouble for breaking the rules"

From Bottiger: If people like the music that is being played, then it isn't "spam".

Isn't that a rather grainy area however? What's to constitute people liking the music or not - what if half the server enjoys the music, and the other half doesn't? What qualifies as "people liking the music." I think we need a more straight forward guideline, cuz I was in 2fort and much to the chagrin of a lot of people in there - Anya banned a mic spammer who nobody was really complaining about and infact even asked her to allow them to stay. It was a very long time ago and the rules might have since changed, but at the end of the day, these flood of apps have indeed came after Ruelel started laying dat dick down, so that should tell you something.

He's referring specifically to Saxton Hale which has a longstanding tradition of people playing music (including some of our regulars). If anyone complains though it's a mute for the song player.

So the big question for this thread I would assume, would an admin's complaint count towards that rule, or would a player have to complain?
