Sometimes the old games are the best ones to go back to. Entire red alert series is on origin for example and i mean the entire fucking series, even that shitty little fps called Renegade.
fuck you renegade was good

Supreme Commander 2 for lols
Portal 2 for wot m8
Skyrim for strip women and shout off mountain
Hl2DM for classic master game of ages

Black Mesa was good even though it only covers the first half of the game. Kerbal space program is fun at first but there are no goals/objectives in the game so eventually you just find yourself putting things into orbit..

The entire DOOM series is now compatible with win7 and win8 - you can get it straight from Steam but be careful which package you buy because you can rip yourself off. In fact, if you find yourself interested in buying any of the DOOM games, message me and I will tell you which options take the least amount of cash.
edit - It seems only the doom3 bfg edition is win7 compatible unless you can do the whole xp compatible mode thing with the other games

Those kind of games don't interest me. Games like Sims, Simulators, Football manager and so on. I looked at kerbal space program and it looks stupid.

Just not my kind of game i guess.

Older Consoles:
Legend of Zelda
Contra
Super Mario Bros I, II, III
Afterburner
Super Mario 64

Newer Consoles and PC:
Any of the Fallout series
Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind
The Last Of Us
Fable I, II
TF2
Halo I, II, III
CoD: Modern Warfare (Yes, CoD 4 was one of the greatest shooters ever)
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn and Awakening
Final Fantasy: III, VII

Runescape was good Pre-2007. Now it is a clusterfuck of shit.

If I didn't want DOTA suggested why would i want LoL? :p

I am not saying they are bad games. They are just time consuming.

So you're saying you want a fun game that you can sit down, startup, play for a bit, get off and do some chores or work or whatever, sit down a bit later and play some more?
