I still stand by the fact that people have the right to be a little upset. This update has been being talked about for months at the very least and when it finally releases, we get some winter themed cosmetics, a new taunt (which is awesome I'll admit), and a melee reskin.

If this were just a typical update out of nowhere, or one with a month or so of hype, I don't think anyone would be irritated by it. I think the sheer fact it was hyped up to be so much, then releases and it's so little has people upset. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Valve is still updating this game however many years since it's released, but I think if you're going to hype up a major update, it has to actually be a major update, not a few cosmetics.
 
This update was kinda underwhelming. I was expecting a lot of new weapons like the creator, James McVinnie was talking to about on this update a while back. Pretty much what Team Fortress has managed to do was go from having bread pop out everywhere, to having ducks pop out everywhere... The movie was fantastic though, excellent quality, only wish there was some voice acting with it since Vavle got officially involved with the project, but I don't know the logistics of it all so not really something to complain about in the end. Hopefully the Spy vs Engie update that the game code is hinting about, assuming that it's all credible.

I wish Valve would get off the topic of ducks, last update didn't portray them well and this isn't making it any better.

Same. I feel ripped off. I mean the animation was AMAZING but the update is just meh. It also doesn't help that they canned the map that the community was making for EoTL just because it was too "Confusing" for test players. Confusing my ass.
 
It sounded pretty simple to me. Cap the points to move the train. Sounds much simpler then Asteroid, which I still don't completely understand.
 
I am part of the few that believes updates are, at this point, uninteresting. I don't care if I get a new weapon or hat. I'll just continue playing what I have played since 2011.
