It's not just the 7th top ranked site in the US..


But really... It depends on who you're buying stuff from.. Some people might not put all the details in what they're selling.. but most people are legit.

Only trust people who have a lot of feedback from customers and have been doing what they've been doing for a while.

I recently bought a new Antec VCool VGA Cooling Fan off E-Bay after the wires on my old one snapped, the product was from a guy with tons of rep and had been around E-Bay for 3 years, product was in great condition, looked like it came right out of the box, worked that way too.

Things are okay to buy from people without a lot of feedback as long as they're not something people would usually scam you for. Such as the people scamming buyers with iPad boxes filled with rocks.

Even if they have a lot of rep i tend to look deeper into their rep. Just look at the negative ones and you will either see bitter customers who expect things there next day and report negatively right away or a pattern if shitty support from the seller. That and use your head. :)

by buying stuff. or selling low priced items where it doesn't really matter if you have rep or not.
