I visited her profile page and the id is outer_orbit. When I input this into the donation page I got this: (The specified profile could not be found.) Sounds like a catch 22 now lol

Just tell her to go to her steam profile page and copy the url for it, then post it back here. (If her donor permissions are still not working)
Username is totally useless, the donation page needs the proper steam community id (custom id's work too), if the proper ID is used the donation WILL work, if it's not it won't.
Step 1: Open up http://steampowered.com > Login to account
Step 2: Go to "username's" account > choose view profile
Step 3: Copy the URL in the address bar. Mine is steamcommunity.com/id/OakyTree
