Does anyone else here like playing Engineer?

I don't understand the hate towards the Gunslinger, Short Circuit and Pomson. The Pomson fires visible projectiles that can be avoided with a bit of dancing. The Short Circuit after the nerf is much more fair and at least requires the engie to swap off the SC to receive metal and the Gunslinger provides high mobility. Obviously the minisentry is horrible and is the bane of everyone's existence but for a class like Engineer, these weps provide something that lets the Engie be an active part of the team. In conclusion, no I don't play engie. :p

mini sentries shut down scout and pyro
short circuit stops soldiers and demos from destroying mini sentries
pomson has uber drain and that's just autism

Crit Pomsons were the equivalent of a boulder rolling towards you.

Ping isn't something that matters for some classes and not for others. That's true for a competitive atmosphere and a Pub alike. Disagreeing with that is just silly.

Nothing wrong with using minisentries if you're doing it right. The issue is that trolling people isn't the same as playing Engineer.

I love playing widow maker engineer on pubs. Pub heavies cannot aim for shit, you can literally jump around them until you kill them.
