+1. The most glaring issue is that some maps simply don't have enough traps to activate for Hale to consistently win; if the players are smart and sacrifice one at a time, then the players always win simply from there being too many of them. Of course, some maps may be easier to achieve a win on and it still depends on the Hale's skill level at catching people in traps, but 50 seems too overwhelming for any Hale to deal with.
 
Most maps are designed to be for 32 players, however if you go above 32 I believe things will break. Perhaps 40 or 42 would be enough?
Personally I was good with 36, almost no Maps would break from it, Even 40 might be pushing it with certain maps like stupidity and SpongeBob I think 36 is still the best middle ground between not crashing and extra slots

Is dr_stupidity's mention referring to the teleporting for Bonus Ducks?
If so that's because the teleportation logic for it was used with two logic_cases with PickRandomShuffle coming from two trigger multiples that fire an output only once per player.

Keep in mind this was before vscript was added to TF2 so this can easily be replaced with the teleporting vscript that wormatty made.

There's other issues with late spawning above 36 people after mini starts but yes that is one of the main issues. But realistically this is gonna be a tiny issue compared to what will pop up running 40 player Dr.

I'm planning to update dr_stupidity after the release of dr_pokemon_b2 which includes replacing all the teleporting logic with vscript (like how dr_pokemon does it) and respawning will also be done with vscript (so no latespawning).

There will also be other fixes and trap improvements.

And you going to fix that one entity that is causing so many problems for other maps right? 🙂
 
It's been lowered to 42 but I still don't think it should be above 40 until we have more longer maps that can better support more players. Those 2 extra players can mean the difference between winning and losing for Hale.
